1. Community Services – Community Health and Social Care encompasses multi-disciplinary teams including, nursing, occupational therapy, social care, and social work. Their aim is to help people maintain the best possible quality of life and independence in their own home.
2. Health, Social Care & Wellbeing – link to information on all the services and support that is available in Guernsey & Alderney.
3. Healthy Living including 5 Ways to Wellbeing – this link includes the 5 Ways to Wellbeing leaflet in the downloads section. It was created by Health & Social Care and is a great resource if you want to improve your wellbeing, are struggling with your mental health or just want to add more meaningful activities into your routine.
4. Health & Social Care Committee – link to the States of Guernsey Health & Social Care Committee.
5. HSC Complaints – Customer Advice & Liaison Service – the Customer Care Team is the first point of contact for service users to give feedback on any service or treatment received from Health & Social Care (HSC) or the Medical Specialist Group (MSG).
6. Nursing Homes – link to a list of all the Extra Care Housing, Residential and Nursing Homes available within the Bailiwick.
7. Pharmacies – link to Pharmacies in the Bailiwick including Sunday & Bank Holiday opening hours. N.B. Prescription charges as of 1 Jan 2026 are £5.40.
8. Sexual Health – the Sexual Health Centre offers advice and care on all aspects of sexual health, including contraception and sexually transmitted infections. The Orchard Centre is accessible without a doctor’s referral and they both offer pre-arranged appointments and walk-in sessions. 9. Sexual Assault Helpline – this helpline is available 24/7 and their contact details can be found on the link to this webpage.
